"If I ever have kids, and they are upset, I won’t tell them that are people starving in China or anything like that because it wouldn’t change the fact that they are upset. And even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn’t change the fact that you have what you have."

Stephen Chobsky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (via julie911) (via quote-book)

Funny Hats. Only Johnny Depp gets away with it

OMG, don’t forget, Jack Sparrow. I mean, his make-up…. it’s awesome. His acting… it’s superb.

HP for me! :D Naw, wait, let me read all the HP books and then reread the whole Twilight Saga first, and only then will I decide. :)

I am now rereading New Moon in preparation for the criticizing that I’ll be doing to the movie. Lol. But, I admit…

I think I’m falling in love with the Saga all over again. Didn’t see that one coming.

Saw this book a while ago at National Bookstore for Php750. This is my next target book. Please wait for me! I have a growing knack for humorous books whenever I’ve finished Brown’s thrillers. I feel like I need to rest my brain a bit. :P

Trailer of The Last Song starring Miley Cyrus, based on the best selling book of Nicholas Sparks.

Okay, I admit I am very much against giving Cyrus the lead role. But, I must admit that I haven’t read the book so I really shouldn’t judge it that easily. I still don’t know the personality of Ronnie (the protagonist played by Cyrus), maybe it somehow matches that of Cyrus. I really don’t know. But I’m looking forward to this movie, that’s for sure.

I think I have to read the book.

BROTHERS tells the powerful story of two siblings, thirty-something Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) and younger brother Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal), who are polar opposites. A Marine about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, Sam is a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, the aptly named Grace (Natalie Portman), with whom he has two young daughters. Tommy, his charismatic younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s always gotten by on wit and charm. When his Black Hawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains Sam is presumed dead and the Cahill family suddenly faces a shocking void. Tommy tries to fill in for his brother by assuming newfound responsibility for himself, Grace, and the children. In the grief and strangeness of their new lives, Grace and Tommy are naturally drawn together. Their longstanding frostiness dissolves, but both are frightened and ashamed of the mutual attraction that has replaced it.
Watch the trailer here.
OMG, I saw this on the news and I was instantly caught by it! I love the trailer and the plot itself. It’s refreshing not seeing Tobey Maguire climb walls and stuff. Lol. Oh, and Natalie Portman is exquisitely beautiful here. :)

Hello, Pentel Correction Marker. :)
I bought a correction marker a while ago for Php100. I dunno why it’s so expensive for a marker but I am hoping it’s because it works well than the others. It’s branded Pentel, after all. This is the first serious time that I will be using correction markers for good because personally, I find it messy. I prefer enclosing my mistakes with parentheses rather than smothering white fluid all over them. But I’ll be needing them when we start journalizing, so there.
Anyway, I went to SM with my baby bro and Mom. I brought Php600 and WTF, all I have left now is Php100! Talk about thrifty. :P
